It's very crowded and can be difficult to stand out. Really depends on what you're selling but being the lowest price is usually a good place to start.

The Irish Ebay market is very small. Even taking the huge population difference into consideration percentage wise I sell way more to the UK and France, Italy, Spain etc.

It can be a useful way to get people to your website if you have one!

Things might occasionally get lost but if it's registered with a value AP should compensate you. I wouldn't let that put you off selling elsewhere in Europe. The more potential customers the better regardless of where they are.

I think I found your store using the brand names you suggested. Very nice items and the prices don't seem out of step from what I can see. I sell items that people search for specifically so I'm not sure how to stand out selling a particular brand.

The only tips I'd give you is use as many search terms as you can think of and if selling to France, Italy, Spain etc. have some basic translations so your items are found. Lots of listings doesn't hurt either. A basic shop can cut down on listing fees a lot but other charges remain the same.

Try and keep shipping costs to the very minimum also. For lower priced items include some of the shipping in the price as it looks more appealing than a 10e dress shipped for E12. I wouldn't register an item of that value personally - not worth it. Very little is lost in the post.

See what the super sellers are doing and copy it.

Try the business and entrepreneurial forum here you might find people with experience in this.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

No harm putting your items on Amazon either - the costs are similar to EBay.
