Hi has anyone out there a customer of avonlinebroadband. I've been looking on their website and they seem to be cheaper than the others but ive never heard of them.

As you may see from the thread posted above I have been asking about sat broadband and had considered Avonline I even thought I'd seen a special free offer of something from them for N.Ire customers, but can't find it again.
As I posted,I don't seem to have any alternative source of broadband, but the local computer shop put me off the idea when he handed his back claiming it was only Up to 2 Meg on a good day for £1per day!

I also read that lag is a problem, makes sense I suppose, even at the speed of light 22,000 miles there and back takes nearly a second? Seems the Sat involved is about the same position as Astra 2A,or Sky TV as we know it 28 degrees, can anyone confirm this? Thanks
