If you get arrested and ended up in court while away would that be on your Garda record?

Do other countries tell the police here if you have been in trouble abroad?

Depends on the country and the nature of the offence, some might share back to the "home" country of the offender, but nothing "formal" really.

If you are arrested by the Garda, of course it would be on your Garda record. The vast majority of arrests in Ireland are by the Garda.

If the arrest is in another jurisdiction, it is quite possible that the authorities in that other jurisdiction have either made a request for confirmation of you identity, other enquiries, e.g. check for warrants / extradition orders and/or shared information on why you were arrested.
