I'm doing business international with French and from the looks of the timetable people who are doing French are only in for 30 mins on Wednesday? Surely this can't be the case?

Anyone doing DC111 Business Studies... When completing your registration and where it says "step 6- subject selection", are you ticking the optional module MS136A "Mathematics for Economics and Business"? Is this like advanced maths or what? Does everyone tick this?

Anyone doing accounting and finance? Timetable is so confusing three lectures scheduled for same time does anyone know why this could be? I thought the course was meant to be around 14 hours

Are they all lectures you're registered for? Courses will often have classes on at the same time on the timetable as they're optional classes and not everyone will be taking them.

Are they all the same module? Sometimes modules will run several tutorials concurrently with the class split into different groups.

Also possible it's a mistake - never take your timetable for definite until the night before lectures (and even then it can change more). It'll likely change several times between now and when you start.

Yeah they're all lectures I've registered for.. two of them are the same module but one is different yet it wasn't optional so I don't understand that. Yeah it must be a mistake!

Is anyone here doing Global Business with French? If so do you know if all optional modules including french are obligatory or can you choose some of the other modules as well?

    Hey!

How did you get on during orientation week? I started Business (DC111) and also know no one! Dunno about you but I find it really daunting! By the way, the class is so outrageously big, i'll probably never get to know you but ..Hi!
