To anyone who has bought the living social deal for Dublin Plumbing and Gas to do a boiler service get a refund immediately, when I questioned how long it would take and what it comprises off they said 30 mins (according to Bord Gais a competent service should take 1 hour minimum) and then wouldn't answer on me what it comprised. Finally when I called a guy told me as I was getting a discount I should be happy with what I was getting. Surely a discount from Living social shouldn't take anyway from the service. The deal was €39 down from standard €99 for a boiler service.

If you pay peanuts you'll get monkeys. No self respecting serviceman would do a proper service for this joke of a price. If they have to advertise such low prices on the likes of groupon and similar to get work then that says it all really

Social Deals get 50% of that.
    Your getting a €19-50 service
+ your getting ripped off at that !!

( by "ALL" service companys doing simular ) IMHO

Ok if its a hotel bedroom and meal at half price, then the customer can judge value for money. + promote hotel.
