I already have had significant industry experience in soldering (SMT,BGA) but it has quite aged now working as a rework/debug technician many years ago. Hi Folks, I was just wondering if any has done soldering training to get IPC certification? I already have had significant industry experience in soldering (SMT,BGA) but it has quite aged now working as a rework/debug technician many years ago.

It's a career I was planning of returning to and was wondering if it is worth getting the IPC Certification? I have seen it as requirements on a number of job specs I have seen.
