Hello:) I am thinking of going to queens to study nursing....I was wondering is the nightlife or the student life in Belfast good craic? What does it compare to Sligo and Galway and other towns and cities which are know for their nightlife. I'm am concerned as I have never heard of many people talking about queens and belfasts nightlife. Any information on how good or bad it would be very much appreciated :)

Great nightlife, loads of great student pub/clubs with plenty of cheap promo nights across the week.

The only slight issues are, everywhere closes at 1/1.30am. EVERYWHERE. But everyone just heads out earlier. Pubs and clubs to be full swing 8/9pm.

Taxis, you cant just pull one. You must call/book one. Can be a bit hectic at the end of the night. Its a small city tho, so you can walk everywhere anyway. You just have to know where the no go areas are.

I reckon its better than Galway & Sligo together.

Thanks!:) sounds good :) after the pubs etc close would you just continue to drink at your house or would there be any house parties to go to after?:) also is there much house parties etc ?:)
