    Hi all,
I'm having a problem with my Asrock Z97 Extreme 6 motherboard.
I bought it used from adverts 4-5 months ago. Had no bother with it then everything was prefect. 2 or so months later my motherboard begins losing the every time it's turned off. I believed it was just the fault of the battery on the motherboard so I replaced it. Made no difference at all. I cleared the CMOS using the button on the back & updated the BIOS again made no difference. It won't save any configurations Overclocking, boot orders etc.
I think I might still have warranty but I would like to know if the error is fixable by myself before I send it away.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

The specs of the computer if it helps.
    Pentium G3258
    Corsair Dominator 2x2GB
    Asrock Z97 Extreme 6
    1TB & 500GB
    Azza hurricane 2000r
    Corsair GS800
    GTX 680 2GB windforce

Have you tried an older BIOS?

Might be the case, I never really thought of that. Thank you.
