Bookies taking bets...

Only listened to the first half hour. Interesting for sure, but they are dancing around the real issue... It's amusing how they keep wondering why bookies take bets more readily - even from 'smart' bettors - on sports other than racing.

The answer is obvious - it's because racing is bent. We all know it. I understand that lazy risk departments might end up catching too many fish in their nets but you can't have the conversation when you won't acknowledge that racing is riddled with horses not running on their merits.

If you want to blame someone for shops being suspicious of guys walking in the door looking for 50 quid EW at 10 in the morning - we all know where to look.
