    Hello,
I want to do the Croke park tour, and I see there are two types, the normal tour and then the Backstage Match Day Stadium Tour.
Just wondering has anyone done the match day one, and is it worth doing that or the normal one or are they pretty much the same.

I'd go for the match day tour, I did the stadium tour last month, during the week leading up to the Ed Sheeran concerts which unfortunately meant access to a few areas was restricted (but not much) but I enjoyed the tour overall. Given the price from what I can see is exactly the same I think it the matchday preparation element would give it extra dimension, I kind of wish I could do it myself now to be honest.

The regular tour starts with a movie based on behind the scenes footage of preparations for the 2009 finals, then we went out to the stand, along pitchside and to the dressing rooms, from there up the Hogan Stand through to the players lounge, then up to the media entrance and media centre, and media section on the upper tier of the Hogan Stand, then we were brought to one of the Corporate boxes. I'd imagine most of that will still be part of the matchday tour, unless someone whose actually taken that tour can correct me.

Access to the museum is also included and you'd spend a good hour taking the museum in. I'd highly recommend it, €12.50 is good value for the whole experience.
