I've had a strange little bird at a feeder in my garden today, the same size as a sparrow but with some blue plumage, deepest around its neck. I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me what it is. A quick Google suggested it might be an indigo bunting. Thanks in advance.
    Apologies for the bad photography.

It looks like a sparrow that's got some blue paint around its neck.
An indigo bunting lives in North America.

I agree, looks like it poked it's head in somewhere where it got some blue dye or paint on itself.

Thanks for that - I thought it was sparrow but I just thought I'd ask. Hopefully the paint isn't toxic for him.
