I mean sports/social clubs and societies, activities and general friendly atmosphere/making friends easily.

I will be a mature student of course that's what college is for, and I've narrowed my colleges down to the above based on my courses but i dont want to be isolated or in a cold impersonal college so any help?

    *DCH=DCU, little mistake

buddy of mine said he preferred NUIM to trinity based mostly on social scene and tighter-knit community. Having said that, bit of a difference in academic "prestige" between that and UCD. Any college in dublin would be more isolated with accomodation situation there I suppose.
