Brake issues Lexus IS200

    Having problems diagnosing fault in my front brakes at the moment on 2004 IS200. There's a click/creaking sound from both front brakes whenever the brake pedal is pressed, regardless of whether the car is moving or not, have had whole system checked and nothing obvious, sliding pins springs etc all in perfect order. Has anyone else had similar issues ?

    sometimes the sliding pin bolts are put on the wrong way, one bolt is slightly longer than the other and if they are mixed up there can be a click sound. maybe try switch the sliding pins.

    That's all been checked, it's currently in mechanics, only thing left I've been told is caliper carrier replacement, supposedly can fail on these 😖
