Lovely aircraft, I presume its a business jet but I wonder could it be configured for passengers, it would be a class one to travel in, I would say you could get at least 60 passengers into it if it was , great to see activity at Galway Airport.

It can hold 20 passengers I believe.

Probably 19 pax. This is the max number of pax allowed without legally having to carry cabin crew.

It would make a lovely short haul passenger jet, is there any of this model flying passenger today or is it all business. I could not get over how large it looked taking off, pretty large wingspan with a lovely climb out.

Not a chance you would get something like this doing normal scheduled passenger flights. Closest you would get to it would be something like this which holds about 50 passangers and is also made by Bombardier

Would that one have a short take off and land capability for operating out of Airports like Galway ??looks nice

At Max TOW, it needs 5000 Ft to get into the air, so it's performance limited out of Galway, as are a lot of this size of Bizjet, and if it were to be configured to take significant numbers of Pax, something would have to give for it to be capable of legal operation off the runway at Galway.

As far as cabin crew are concerned, a good number of bizjets will operate with a crew member in the cabin, even though there is no legal requirement to do so,

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Just looking at the spec sheet and it looks like the runway at Galway is way too short for takeoffs (at minimum it requires 5,000 ft for takeoffs while galways runway is 4230 ft)

Nice to see that Galway Airport is still operating away despite loss of scheduled air services, maybe in the future they will get something back again I don't see any reason why not, this article is from todays City Tribune

Aerohead, that's pretty miserable of the City Tribune, not to even give you a credit for your photo.

Yes I told them they could use the picture and I thought they would at least give me credit for it. I was pretty happy with that picture as it gives the article they published today a good boost.

Tell 'em you're dissapointed about the lack of a credit. If it had been one of their contributing journo's not getting a byline for their story, the editor would never here the end of it. This can often be a good way to get follow up photos published and credited.

Best of luck with the photography :)
