Google Docs copy & paste in Firefox

Google Docs copy & paste isn't working for me in Firefox 39 (Windows).

There is an issue where the menu selector can't be used - for security reasons JS can't access your clipboard. However, I'm also seeing this failing with the keyboard shortcuts that Google suggests using. Seeing it in Firefox safe mode (no addons).

Anyone got a solution or workaround? (Apart from switching to Chrome)

I’m using Palemoon, which is a Firefox knock-off, and the ctrl+c/ctrl+v commands seem to be working. I’m surprised they don’t also work with FF, but I may have done some tweaking so I’ll check to see if I can out what.

Just signed into Google docs in both Palemoon and FF with the keyboard shortcuts working fine in both.

What program (eg: Notepad++, Word, etc.) are you trying to copy from? Does the same problem still happen if you are, say, copying straight text from Notepad?

Yep, fails in a straight copy from Notepad, Windows search bar and the Run box.

I can paste here into the boards.ie editor and Google.com search no problem.
