    Hi,

I'd like to know how Ireland compares with other EU compares in terms of gross pay versus net take home pay.

Are we relatively heavily taxed compared to other Western EU countries?

For comparison sake, let's assume a gross wage of 70k / annum.

Which countries would I be better / worse off living in? Not just taking into account PAYE but all types of income tax.

Particularly interested in the comparison between UK, Germany, Scandanavian countries, Spain.

    Thanks!
