    hey,
can anyone tell me a website that can build a very powerful gaming pc. Before people start telling me to build my own im disabled and not able to, i just want a site/company that have very customizable options for the hardware i want. i basically just want the company to assemble it after i pick my own parts. no budget!

    thanks

.in the UK, Scan.co.uk have a prebuilt service branded 3XS. They will assemble and test for you, think overclockers have similar.

They charge in Sterling. Given the exchange rate wouldn't PC Specialist be a better choice?

Where are you based? If your near carlow I'll build it for you. I'm sure the same will go for the rest of the lads. :)

    CyberpowerPC.co.uk is good.
PCSpecialist are good, but limited range.
Scan.co.uk might be the best for customability.
    Custompc.ie are god awful.

True, but OP mentioned no budget; used Scan for years for components and some signage boxes. Never any issues, and always easy to deal with when stuff is faulty or DOA.

Only other crowd I have personal experience with that do custom builds is Aria, not a fan as they made a complete balls of an order twice; wrong drives the 1st time-WD red instead of purple, and then sent the right drives to the wrong address.

I'll be moving to the city at the end of this month, I'd be happy to help you out Sean.

Freshtech Solutions also has a huge range. Even with Sterling charges the prices seem good as far as I can tell, but not a lot of support testimony to go on.

Does anyone on this forum live in Limerick besides me?

just out of interested, any of ye guys think there s any point getting the new motherboards and cpu s? i myself am not sure.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,387 ✭✭✭glynf

If you are building a new PC from scratch, yes unless you get a Haswell board & CPU at a decent price. Skylake would be a better option if you plan to sell & upgrade in future-more recent stuff is generally easier to sell on.
