    Hi all,
I own a small amount of land that a local farmer wants to lease. He said he needs maps with it. I presume these are not the maps that I would have got when I purchased the land. Are the agricultural"maps" different? Do I need to go to land registry again? Its 6 acres
    Thanks in advance

Hi all, forgive the stupidness of this question, but which "maps" are required to let out a piece of land to a farmer, who I presume will be claiming entitlements.
    Thanks in advance

If you draw up a lease your solicitor will include maps.
A copy of maps you got when you got farm will do or you can get a copy for a few euro on www.landdirect.ie
Or he can get maps himself
He is asking for maps so he can include leased land for any grants he may be untitled to like basic farm payments etc.

Area aid maps, they look like satellite photos. Mostly look green.

Surely it's not the actual maps but rather the right to use the land to support entitlements (i.e. to submit maps) which he is requesting?

I always assumed that people looking to rent land "with maps" meant that the rent included the SFP (rights) as opposed to letting the lessor keep it?

OP will need the maps to find the LPIS number.
