    Hi,

Looking to get paint correction done on a black saab 93 '08
It has a tone of swirls and scratches.
Any recommendations on someone good? I already got a machine polish done in Sligo but it was just as bad a week later!

    thanks

You got a machine polish done a week ago and its bad already?? Hate to break it to you; if you didnt drive the car through 5 brush washes or wash the car with a sponge that came out of a bucket of gravel, then you didnt get a machine polish. At best you got a hand polish, with fillers, that have since been washed off the surface of the car to reveal the swirls that were always there.

Dont know of any detailers that I could recommend in the Sligo area.

I think you're right. I'd like to give a correction with a DA a go myself as price wise you would at least have the tools for the job again if needed.

what would you see as a minimum to start? would this along with claybar and a good sealant do the trick or am i missing some steps?

Depends on how long you leave it...I assume they actually managed to de-tar the car even if they didn't machine polish it.
Leave it longer and the car will need to be detar'd, prior to claying, and a fallout remover would also be recommended.

After polishing a wash down with an All Purpose Cleaner to remove the oils from the polish and then a good wax or sealant to protect the work you've done.
