Problem starting jobsbridge after doing a FIT course

    Hi.
    as the thread title suggests I'm having problems being allowed to go from a FIT/Momentum course on to a jobs bridge internship.

    The dole office have said you have to wait 6 months before going on to it,and they aint budging.

    FIT and Jobsbridge said thats the first they have heard of it and not only that but every day spent on a FIT course counts towards the 78 days signing on to qualify for jobs bridge.It even says you can go onto an internship on www.welfare.ie.Also the person in Jobsbridge said that 6 month time limit is if you want to do another courseie FAS or springboard.

    Has anyone else been refused recently or indeed started a jobsbridge internship with no issues after doing a FIT course.Have my appeal monday and dont want to threaten ringing Joe Duffy :)
