Is it possible to damage your heart from running?
I did a few strides type efforts about 6 weeks ago, this would've been the first time I'd done any speed work in a good while and during the session I felt a bit of discomfort in my chest which I found strange cos I'd never experienced that before.
For a day or 2 after it was still there but then went away, but ever since the discomfort comes and goes but strangely enough never while running, I went to an ECG and it came back clear, is there any other test I should consider going for?

    Consult your doctor.

might be nothing mightn't necessarily be your heart, could be lungs could be muscle strain in your back or intercostal muscles. A lot of things are working hard when you do stuff like that.

    We don't know.

    Stop asking us!!!! :D
