Xperia z3 WhatsApp view photo without saving to phone

    Hey,
    I recently got an Xperia z3, all my WhatsApp images keep saving to my gallery folder. I installed quickpic.

    And that's where the problem starts

    I can't navigate to the required folders to actually hide the images from my gallery folder!!

    Can anyone help? (I'm not the most tech savvy)

    Sending porn through WhatsApp eh? ;)

    Anyway, you could just download the pic, view it and then delete it, just be sure to tick the box that says "also delete media from phone", oh and make sure that if you have Google Photos installed that it's not automatically backing up the WhatsApp folder.

    Go into chat settings "Media auto download". Uncheck all the boxes - it wont save anything. You can then pick and choose what pics / vids you want. but you might have to guess as the previews are blurred?

    Or:
    In order to stop all WhatsApp media from appearing in your gallery, we recommend that you create a .nomedia file or folder inside of your WhatsApp images, audio, and video folder. You can do this using a file explorer, or by hiding the folder in Quickpic.
