Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am anyway. I've a few questions to ask about different things and it will be the perfect time to do it as there won't be huge amounts there, unlike both the first year orientation and general times during the year!

Nothing to worry about, place is jammed with mature students. Can't turn around without seeing a few of us. I hope you guys enjoy your time in Maynooth as much as I did (and do).

I'll be there. I've heard the mature student orientation isn't that great, but I think it's still worth it. Plus, there's a free lunch so that's something.

Have a quick question regarding the mature orientation, as I got the letter in the post this week - is the dates listed for mature orientation (those being the 7th and 8th of September) going to be mandatory. I know in the booklet they sent out with the accompanying letter contained days and times for specific courses that they list as mandatory (days that they will do registering and such), but I didn't catch a specific on the mature orientation days. Although I did read that they would be beneficial.

The reason for asking is that I will be starting a part-time course in Maynooth and as such, I'm still going to be working. Arranging a half day for the end of the month is likely, but getting two days off in the first week of September is going to be a definite no chance given my profession and the time of the year.

Cool. That's good to know. Ideally, yeah I would love to be able to. But just know that circumstances won't allow me to. Rather be able to focus on getting the time off I need for the actual registering. Thanks for that!
