Does anyone know If the scholar programme still goes on, where students with a 1.1 in first second or third year get the award of recognition? I can only find information back to 2012-2013 on the website. Thanks

I think its still the same standards. For any year other than final year, if you get 75% and top 10% you get the award with €250. Think the requirements are a bit different for medicine. The 12/13 info is probably still correct.

AFAIK, you don't need 75%. I got it with 72% (although this was a few years ago) and a couple of my friends got it last year with less than 75% (you still need a 1:1 though)

what school are you in lockstep? I think each school has different requirements

I also got an average of 73 this year, I'm in undenominated science. Heading into fourth year this year. I don't think it will be enough in my case, but you could always email your college office to ask them if you qualify for the award. Best of luck!

Looking at this the engineering section is correct so Im assuming its fine for everyone.

You also have to be in the top 7% of your class for science.
