Regional Broadband fair usage warning

Had been looking at getting regional broadband. Their speeds looked ok and they state unlimited downloads on their website as well as
"If you choose Regional Broadband you won’t have to worry about any hidden charges or extras – your bill is always the same – every month."

So everyone know unlimited rarely means unlimited so I mailed them. This is the response I recieved
Thank you for your message m5. Please find the information you requested below.

    1. 24:1 is the maximum contention.

    2. Fair usage depends on the package selected.

    2Mb @ €27.99 - 30Gb

    4Mb @ €37.99 - 50Gb

    6Mb @ €50.00 - 80Gb

    10Mb @ €69.99 - 120Gb

If you exceed your monthly usage you can be charged €1 per extra 1Gb. If you are relying on this connection for business use, we will need to provide you a business quotation on a needs assessment basis. This Fair Usage Policy is close to industry standard.

Amazingly low limits on unlimited broadband (eircom/vodafone/upc all above 300gb) and hidden charges for exceeding those embarrassingly low limits for a "fixed broadband" provider

Be warned if you are thinking of entering a contract with them

Are regional broadband any good, their price for 10Mb is now 39.99 and I was told they guarantee at least 5Mb at peak time. I have found it hard to find any reviews on them, maybe someone on here might help.

Is fixed line broadband a viable option where you live?
