    Hi

I'm doing the theory test tomorrow as well and I have a passport but it's 1 month out of date. Will this be OK as ID?

More than likely not, it'll have to be valid ID.

Irish passports are valid for ID, for up to one year after they expire.

    http://www.theorytest.ie/driver-theory-test/identification-requirements/

Only valid (in date) and original documents in good condition will be accepted. Irish Passports will be accepted if they are in date, or expired by no more than one year. For example; if your Irish Passport expires on September 30th, 2014, it can still be used as proof of identification until September 30th, 2015.
