Mynute 14se gas boiler

    Just looking for some help. I have a mynute 14se gas boiler in my utility room. Im looking to put in cupboards around the boiler but unfortunately the boiler is facing sideways making this very awkward. Does anyone know how the external cover is removed? As in can it be unscrewed and slid up or is it on a hinge. I need to know how much room to give it

    Below is the clearances for your boiler, stick to that and you'll be fine also try to use magnets or similar fixings that allow any woodwork to be easily removed.

    Minimum above: 225mm
    Minimum below: 150mm
    Minimum in front: 600mm
    Minimum at the sides: 25mm

    Thanks for the reply. The front clearance seems quite large. Is that necessary to open the cover panel do you know. My problem is that the boiler is faced to the side. I have plenty of room top, bottom and side.

    Those are the minimum clearances given by the manufacturers to allow a boiler engineer access to the boiler properly, to not follow them and restrict access would be like asking a mechanic to repair your car while your lying across the bonnet.
