Hi folks , I am hoping someone could help me with a question , I am starting a course in Sligo IT this September and at the moment I work part time as well as getting a one parent family payment .I have been told at the moment I would be better off staying on that payment if I want to try and get assistance from the IT with childcare as under the back to education allowance I would not be entitled .My question is How much roughly would be paid for childcare costing 120 a week , I know its means tested but just trying to sort out a budget before I start.

Have you asked for advice in IT Sligo?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

If you also apply and are eligible for the maintenance grant from SUSI, you can keep your OPF payment and your part-time job.
