Damaged Molars

So I had a bad fall about 6/7 weeks ago and managed to break 3 upper molars, lucky not to have a broken jaw or no front teeth.

Each tooth had a good chunk knocked out/taken out by the dentist and they were built back up with fillings.

The issue I'm having at the moment is that while the initial pain in my jaw has gone away I still get pain while eating or have very sensitive teeth while or just after eating/drinking. I'm even waking up some night with it and sometime the pain can come on randomly.

I fear this pain might be a constant in my day to day life for the foreseeable until I get something done about it.

The dentist did hope the fillings would resolve the issue and said if not the root canals/crowns would be needed.

I've already spent a large amount of money on recent work so before I have another check-up/spend more for potential work I was wonder what costs would I be looking at for this sort of work do people know?
Has anyone tried going abroad to get work and found it beneficial financially/good standard?
Is going up north still working out cheaper given the current exchange rates?
Anyone also got any advice for the pain at the moment? I've being taking pain killers but have stopped in recent weeks - don't want to become reliant on them for pain relief! I've also being using sensodyne toothpaste.

    Ah dental tourism..
Firstly I would give it a quick search here using the search button :) The stories here speak for themselves.
Lots of information out there ..
    http://www.dentist.ie/latest-news/the-dangers-of-dental-tourism-.6556.html

Lots of negatives associated with it.
Risk of treatment not being carried out to a high standard,
    Rushed treatment,
    Cost of correcting bad treatment.
Travel expenses, hotels etc etc the list goes on.
Trips to the north aren't cheap these days.

If you pick a dentist near you then if anything was to go wrong you could easily arrange a follow up appointment too.

At the end of the day you get what you pay for, there is a reason why good dental treatment costs money.
