So i want to give my car (09 black ford focus titanium) a really good clean and am going to invest in some decent products and just looking for a bit of advice.

ATM all i use is simonizz wash liquid and a cheap halfords wax.

Have read some threads here and have a general idea of what I need. All advice appreciated

    Shampoo
    Meguiars wash and wax

    Polish
    Autoglym Super Resin Polish

    Wax
    Meguiars Quik wax spray

    De-tar solution
    Autoglym Intensive tar remover

    Clay Bar
    Meguiars quik clay starter kit

    Wheels
    Autoglym Clean wheels

    Accessories
    microfibre drying towel
    two buckets with grit guards
    microfibre mit
    interior polish
    window cleaner
    kitchen towel
    upholstory cleaner

    Wash method would be:
    rinse
    de-tar
    rinse
    clay bar
    rinse
    shampoo
    rinse
    dry
    polish
    wax
    interior

All the above amounts to about 150euro so want to make sure its the right stuff before splashing out. If there is anything else i need or if there is better, cheaper products than above please let me know. Thanks

Better and cheaper dont usually go together. If you want better, expect to pay more....there are much better products out there. But you will get good results with the products you have outlined.

150 for the lot??? Thats cheap.

They tester pots or something, my baskets are never that low in price online HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Bilthamber will give good bang for buck, highly regarded stuff around the detail world.

    Auto wash - shampoo
    surfex - all purpose cleaner
    auto wheels - wheel cleaner
auto foam - Snow foam (if you have a lance for it)
    Korrosol - fall out remover
Regular clay bar - Best clay bar I used, found CG/Meguiars poor in comparison
Cleanser polish is good for use with hand

Finis wax or double speed wax, use finis wax myself and heard good stuff about double speed wax. Hydra wax is good to, especially for quick top up inbetween wash's

I'd forget the kitchen towel myself and use a cheap micro fibre towel instead for what jobs you use it for.
