Just got a phone call from "MICROSOFT" about a virus.

The number that called was 0039865
He had an Indian sounding accent.

I told him "that's weird I have just finished doing a scan with Malwarebytes and nothing showed up" and also how did he link my house phone with Microsoft on my Laptop?

    He then hung up!
So rude these Microsoft employees these days!:pac::pac::pac::pac:

I get these every couple of months. I keep them on the phone with bull**** questions for as long as possible.

78 minutes is my record for keeping the pricks on the phone. I just play the bimbo the pricks think they’ve got a mark.

I always take down the web address and password they give, claim it isn’t working and they usually give me a second address and password to try – all emailed off to the Gardai for whatever good that does.

Best thing to do is to keep these guys on the phone as long as possible, and feign stupidity as long as possible. The longer you scam the scammer, the less money they make.

My Mam usually responds with "oh, my son works in Microsoft, maybe you know..... hello?" BTW I don't. Dad just tells them to Foxtrot Oscar.

Oooh, good one. I'll have to try that.

I've managed to provoke one of them to swear at me, but it's usually not worth the effort. I'll waste 5 minutes of their time, but I get bored of it before long.
