Hi, just wondering if can anyone help.....we have a Briggs & Stratton portable generator that has never been used and has been stored in our garage. We started it up today and the generator started perfectly but the electrical component side of it did not.....any suggestions on what might be wrong with it? It's a B&S Elite Series 10 hp 5500-8500.

    Thanks.....

    one way of re-exciting it

    - don't touch the other wires there while running especially or it may kill you
