Hi all,

I'm in France and want to bring home a few cases of red for drinking over the next 12 months.

I'm a fan of 2008/2009 Haute Medoc but can only find 2011-2013 vintages here this year and they aren't great. I'm also a fan of Tempranillo and Malbec but not au fait with the French wine classifications to choose some alternatives to Haut Medoc which suits my taste.

I tried a few random bottles without success and am coming home in a few days so am sending out a bit of a cry for help for recommendations which can be sourced in Hyper U or Intermarche type supermarkets.

All suggestions in the sub €10 a bottle category much appreciated.
