Looking at joining here. Doing a good deal at the moment. €300 until end of year and then €750 from Jan '16. Looking to see if any members on Forum and would they recommend?

Not a member but I've played it a few times. Nice course and seems to be a friendly spot.

Been a member for a few years and would highly recommend joining. Good facilities and a course that is always in excellent condition. Whatever it is about the land and drainage it is playable in winter when many others are closed.

The offer at the start of the year was €500 so I'm not sure that I would pay €300 for what's left of the year, but I'm sure that would be negotiable if you were joining up.

Also a member & have to say the course has been in great nick all year. A new motor for the greens has them as slick as I ever seen them & the club is in great shape, new tee box on the par 3 6th has totally changed the hole for the better.

Think it was ranked the driest in land course in the country, the course is hardly ever closed.

Im sure you could negotiate on that deal as well.

Thanks for the replies lads. Might leave it towards the end of the year if a deal comes up or early next year to join. I don't see myself getting out that often as i've two kids under age of 4 and a full time job. Ideally would like to be able to play 2/3 holes on my own when i get a chance rather than hitting balls on the range. Would that be possible?. I live only 10 mins from the course, but would like to get a h/c as never had one before. Don't know anyone at the club, but seems to be busy enough when driving by. Thanks again for replys
