    About €46,317.46

*may not be exact but without dimensions or at least a photo to guide it could be anything.

You do understand that nobody can give you an accurate estimation without some more info i.e.:
    Dimensions of house
    No of storeys
    Access available to rear?
Finish required- natural slate, synthetic slate, sheeting, thatch?
    Does structure need replacing?

I'll try and help you. Built a garage 550sq feet, just a simple A-frame, no chimney so no lead

    Timbers + Slates = circa €3000
Labour(make up roof leat felt slate) €1100
Facia and soffet and down pipes €1000

So I dont know where these guys are getting their prices from but I think on a 1000sq feet house it shouldnt exceed €10000.

    Hope this helps

Well they did on their own houses and if these are correct they must live in mansions.

You are in a 2up to 2down so I'd imagine around 1000 - 1200sq feet. Only 1 roof to cover 600sq feet so I can't see it been very expensive.

Again, nobody gave any ball park figures other than you ;)

We are still waiting on some sort of guidance to try help the OP.

Using your dimensions I would have said €6k -€7k give or take.

Jesus, does nobody understand sarcasim around here, the figures were plucked from thin air to highlight a point that we would have to pluck the roof area from thin air god damn it.

Go back and read who posted what and then you will see.

Not at all. It just seems that people don't read the posts and who posted them when replying.

My sincere appreciation to all for their input.
I already have three quotes, I just needed to check if they were the norm.
The job will cost me €11.000 all in.
    Once again thank you.

But theres still no way you can tell if its the norm?
Without the area or a photo at least you could be paying twice the rate or half the rate??

Anyway, good luck with the works.
