Can you get a canker sore on outside lip?

Hi all, I have had this thing on my bottom lip for about 4 days but I'm not sure what it is. I have been told that it is a cold sore, but I'm not convinced. Having looked up the symptoms, there have been no blisters, no tingling sensation, it looks more like a canker sore to me, as it's a whitish sore with red around it.…

Hi all, I have had this thing on my bottom lip for about 4 days but I'm not sure what it is. I have been told that it is a cold sore, but I'm not convinced. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get a canker sore on the outside of the lip? It's close to the top of my bottom lip (if that makes sense) or if it's just a cold sore that didn't show normal symptoms. Thanks

Can't really give you any advice on this one except if it's not gone in a week, seek the advice of a dentist.
