    Hi guys could four month old strong calves on milk once a day be taken straight off it? They are on meal and hay.

    Thats 16 Weeks we have them off at 11 weeks as long as they are eating roughly 1kg meal we dont feed hay only straw as hay gives them a belly

    Or could they be put straight onto Grass?

    If weather good enuf yes ...wud keep them in a few days after taking away the milk because they roam about roaring for it

    I'd wean them off over a wk while on v young grass
