Myself and the missus are gonna take a plunge and splash out on a new car. We have about 25k to spent and would like to hear what other people's experiences warranty specs and deals they got from the forecourts.
is there a certain a make and models to stay away from?

We are looking for something with a big boot and spacious as there will be baby's and kids to be ferried around.

What sort of driving will you be doing? Mostly city driving, school runs, etc or will there be a fair share of motorway or commuting done in the car?

How many children do you have? Do you need a 5 or 7 seater?

Ok, then something like one of these might fit the bill.

    Kia Sportage:

Or a conventional estate with a good boot - Skoda Octavia:

Sister has the ix35 and loves it. Now her's is the 1.7 2WD but still enough poke, and has a few toys on it. She loves the fuel economy.

The new Skoda Superb, one of the roomiest cars out there and the new one is a good looking car.

Going second hand, a Mercedes E-Class estate, 2 spare seats in the boot if you ever need them.

The ix35 and poke shouldn't be used in the same sentence.
