Students in general are grand. Generally students are same as everyone else to be honest, there is good and bad in every group. The drunk ****es that piss people off generally tend to be eighteen year old first years, that end up failing out after first year. Students bring lots of money into the town and they really helped the town get through when times were rougher with the money they brought in. I do think things like R.A.G. week encourage students to get drunk and act the fool in the name of charity but as a whole students are good for Waterford.

If we didn't have students who would be the future educated workforce?

I've always wondered what Waterford would be like without WIT. Like others have pointed out it the students do bring alot of cash into the town so that's a positive at least.

What are the negatives? A few first years (who are generally 18/19) cause a small bit of trouble now and again, very small price to pay for the town to have lots more money and education coming into the town.
