Hi All,

We emigrated a few years back and gave the farm to a relation to manage.

He manages it and we still draw the entitlements etc. All profit from stock goes to him and there is no rent.

Now we are considering renting it out completly to him but am wondering about the consequences of our SFP. If we rent it out is our entitlement gone forever or how does that work does anyone know?

Hes very keen and to be fair was always around helping out so would love to give it to him under his name.

There's no teagasc around these parts to ask the question!
