Just wondering what areas in Carlow town are good to rent in? Or what areas should be avoided more to the point?

Most of Carlow Town is grand although depending on how close to the centre aka all the nightclubs/bars you are it can be very noisy during weekends.

Graiguecullen is another option, slightly outside the town but only by a few minutes walk, again it has some iffy areas but for the most part it's fine.
