    Anybody used them?
    Good or bad?

Thinking about ordering a custom laptop but not really wanting to waste nearly 1900 quid.

    Thanks in advance

Don't go near them as there are lots of bad reviews and nightmare stories here on boards if you do a search.

Have a look at pcspecialist if you are looking for custom laptops. Have a search of this forum for custompc and see what customers experience has been. I'll let you judge for yourself

Whats the laptop for? What do you need to customise?

It needs to be able to handle a fairly decent load, will be running vm's etc ram and a decent processor are a must for what I do so the option to customise a decent spec is necessary

PC specialist probably allow the most amount of personal specification. Price ramps up pretty fast though.

Alienware might be an option, you get to select a lot of the specs. If you wait for a 10% off deal they are reasonable value for laptops.

Have used pc specialist for laptop build. Got a pretty good one with decent specs for 1200 that from Dell was costing me1400+

If using pc specialist drop the windows will save you 100 euro. Get it off reddit.

Make sure to get a proper 1080p hd screen.

    Best of luck.

I don't use windows anyway so yeah that is/has been dropped ;)

Had a quick look at the website price wise it seems about the same as the other place even a bit cheaper as I stuck in an extra HD, but obviously has a far better reputation.
