ESB connection for new build

I'm planning to build a new house on our site.
We are living in a cottage with existing esb connection on the site currently.
When the new house is built we have to knock the old cottage.

Will we be charged for a new connection in the new house or could we get away with just a reconnection?
    1800 vs 400 I believe! (Assuming 12kVA)

Anyone have any info/experience with a situation like this?

It'll be a new connection I'm afraid so you'll need to pay the full amount
