    ive been in college last 3 years and been recieving back to education alowance,this summer is the first time i worked in last 3 years.I started work in start of july,emergency tax 1st week,i got that back 2nd week but ever since then im not paying paye.I have worked for 8 years before i went to college,but this was my first job in 3 years.any ideas

    PAYE works on a cumulative basis so if you only started working 1/2 way through the year you get the benefit of the accumulated tax credits.

    So €8250 without paying tax.
