    Part of how Apiguard works is that the bees try to remove it from the hive and in doing so distribute it through the colony... Feeding isn't recommended while you are treating in case it distracts the bees from the job of cleaning out the Apiguard.

    Give them a quick feed and put on the apiguard , by the time the 2 weeks have passed for the second tray , they are used to the smell and will feed away as normal
