Board Gais with years, no discount. The IFA keep on to me about offers and discounts but I'd have to pay by dd so I don't bother with them. I've night rate and use most electricity at the night rate great discount there :)

Very foolish to be staying will the one supplier for more than 18mths. It's crazy but there is no customer loyalty discount. It works in reverse. New customers get the discounts. They will tell you that themselves. So you play the game and switch every 12-18mths. Keep an eye on your unit rate.

They don't tell you when the deal is over. It's a fair change from electric Ireland from 15% to 8%

Surely most of them door to door salesmen and telesales aren't doing it for your benefit?

Anyone change recently. Did a bit of looking today.
    SSE 16.3 day 8.07 night SC 254.41 12 month's
    Energia 16.78day 8.04 night SC 251 12 month's
    IFA 17.7 day 8.85 night 18 months
    All prices including vat.

Probably go with SSE unless anyone can recommend something else I've missed. Currently on an old IFA affinity deal at 20.06 day 9.91 night. should of changed long ago

Forget about salesmen even the broker type that do all providers. Just get your last bill out. Which salesman will need anyway put the info into bonkers.ie and it tells you what you will save with each plan.
Often it pays to break a years contract if the savings are good. It only costs 50 or something. A dairy farm could save a couple of hundred a month if on the wrong plan.

Changed to Panda power when the deal with SSE ran out . Tried to renew the deal with SSE but they kept delaying not calling back . I had got them to roll it over after the first year but they would not play ball so I got two good years out of them . They do not tell you when the deal runs out . My deal with Panda is for a year .
