dentist in County Galway or Roscommon

I'm a 30 year old female and I've a fairly common fear of dentists.

I have 3 fillings which were done about 4 years ago and I haven't been since.

I drank a lot of fizzy drinks when younger so my enamel is about 50% eroded which embarrasses me at the dentist.

I've noticed a bit of tartar build up now so I need to tackle this.

Do you have any suggestions on nice dentists that won't embarrass me? Should a clean and Polish sort the tartar for now? My gums in general are pink which I hear is important.

    Thanks.

Worth relaying this message I've seen on here before.

However bad you think your teeth are relax, you are NOT the worst the dentist has ever seen,
you're more than likely not the worst he will see that day. Don't be embarrassed going to the
dentist. It would be more embarrassing not to look after your teeth.

Thank you whimsical. That could be an option but for following checkups (I'm going to try to go yearly?!) it's a bit far as I'm nearer to Roscommon but thank you. If I don't hear anything else I might make an appointment with him this time! Thanks!
