Cabinet restoration

Looking for advice on restoring a cabinet, it's only a few years old but certain panels have faded with the sun (mainly along the right side when looking at the photo).

I don't really want to go sanding it (afraid I might damage it), but I'm hoping there are products that might improve it.

What options are there in relation to the fading, and scratches?
    Any advice would be appreciated.

The easiest option is to buy one of the 'furniture restorer ' products by Colron or Rustins. They are mixtures of oils and waxes and do a good job of restoring colour. I wouldn't get into sanding it back as you will need to respray or French Polish.
