Package from US

I ordered from the US almost three weeks ago.

Postage normally is between 10-14 days. I'm on day 12, not including the weekend or the bank holiday, or the day I ordered or the day it was processed.

I got things quicker at Christmas time from the US.

    There isn't a tracking number.

I ordered freebies a months ago of different companies and they never came. So, now I'm worried is there a thief in the sorting office.

Would I be able to show up with ID and proof of address at the sorting office and see if they have a package or would that be a waste of time.

Without a tracking number, there's no way to know where it is. Turning up without knowing something is in the office is a waste of time. If nothing arrives, you may get on to the seller. There's nothing you can do at this end.

Thanks. It is a waste of time.

The package was delivered by USPS priority international. Which says on the USPS website it gets delivered between 6-10 days.

Guess the website I ordered from just added a few more days just to be sure and they're saying 10-14 days.

    I'm seriously panicking now.

Has the sender confirmed there's no tracking number? I thought this was included as part of the USPS priority international service. Also, is it something that may be intercepted by Customs for VAT or customs duty? This may add a few days to it also.

Thanks for that. Just read the website again. The USPS website says there's tracking.

The website I ordered from says it was sent with USPS priority international mail.

I didn't get a tracking number in the email I got when the package was sent.

I must get onto them for the tracking number.

Apparently, It can't be tracked outside the US. They can only see when its delivered. So that's a reason not to give it to me.

Which isn't a lot of help. Cause I paid for the delivery in the first place.

Edit: All is OK. I came home to find the package waiting for me at 10 pm. Waiting for me all day.
