I wouldn't go LED as anyone I've heard of that had same complaint, leds where not very bright and light output worse than original bulbs they replaced

Led is a waste of time for headlights unless they're factory fit.

Halfords do heavy duty bulbs which I've used and can recommend.

Are they any good for Volvos though? The lights are on all the time. I had a set of the osram night breakers in my old volvo and they burnt out quite quickly if I remember correctly.

I had a S40 years ago and fitted Osram nightbreakers, they lasted about 9 months. I ended up replacing them with these:

Not as bright as the nightbreakers but still decent and were still going strong when I sold the car over 12 months later. Like the V70 the dips were on all the time also.

BTW those LEDs should be avoided, typical cheap Asian rubbish from fleebay.
